if you travel at night or in the morning, no problem, but if you travel at the day you have problem. the jackets is very very hot -- much hot

This is a great jacket. Cool looking, great fit and protective. I am super happy I found such a great priced jacket for my bike. The only complaint I would have, in fact the only reason I didn't give the jacket five stars is because the sleeves are a bit long. In reality, I think that might actually be beneficial while I am riding and the wind blows, though I would like them a hair shorter to match the rest of the jacket. Either way, great jacket, super great deal. -- Fantastic Jacket

I was originally nervous about ordering the jacket through Amazon after reading an earlier post. I too have had problems getting stuff on time when ordering through Amazon. As a precaution I went directly to the LeatherUp website and ordered through them without a problem.

The Jacket is great. I was very impressed at the quality and look of the jacket. The sleeves zip off, which really helps when riding on those really hot and humid August days here in NJ. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of pockets and that the liner zips out. The padding fells pretty good. It's approx 1 inch foam.

All in all, the jacket is great and well worth the price. The one thing I did not like was that each of the zippers have a 2 inch removable tab attached to them. Even though they are there to make opening the zipper pockets easier, I found the tabs annoying and took them off.
I wish they had more convertible stuff to minimize the amount of gear I need to carry around while riding.

This is a very nice Jacket, it has removable armor and winter liner, so if its too bulky for you its easily changeable. BUY A SIZE BIGGER THAN YOU USUALLY ORDER!! Hey guys just got this jacket and it is actually pretty good for the money..
I would definitely get one size bigger than your normal jacket, I did luckily and its still a tad snug..
The pros: Price,ships fast,is comfortable enough "in all fairness I haven't tried any other jackets" Has vents and armor is light and seems to be were it needs to be
The CONS: Need to order size bigger, liner has very large netting inside which is kind of strange your fingers can get caught up a little while putting arm thru sleeve, also winter insert is very awkward to use but it does work..
All together this is an excellent jacket to get started with until you have a chance too get out there and try different types and find the perfect one for you -- Nice starter jacket

Motorcycle Jacket Maintenance Tips

Some maintenance tips are not necessary. Nylon jacket is clean most of the world with just a sponge and some soapy water or a brush to lightly woven into one of Cordura (this textile has indeed a larger frame and dirt can stays inside ). Avoid washing machines and worse, accelerated drying in a dryer or near a radiator because the fibers will tighten, inserts melt and the garment will be good to throw! You simply let the coat dry in a ventilated place, hanging on a coat.

For effective cleaning, remember to remove the liner and remove the protections (they are removable but locate their prior position). Most jackets have a hydrophobic treatment that repels moisture, but also fat. It is useful from time to time to spray a waterproof product adapted (found in department stores or sports stores).
